For the Sake of the Next Generation

Sound Youth Network exists so students in Seattle see Jesus through a church that is together—leaders praying, sharing, and encouraging one another for the sake of the next generation.

Our Values

Gospel First

Everything we do begins and ends with Jesus. The gospel is not just a message for students but the foundation of our calling as leaders. It shapes our ministries, directs our vision, and unites us together as one family living and serving under the good news of Christ.

Unity

Seattle has diverse leaders and churches, and we see this as strength. Unity means collaboration instead of competition, moving in step with one another. We believe students need to see the church as one body with one mission: pointing them to Jesus with humility, courage, and love.

Prayerful Dependence

Prayer is not an add-on to ministry but its foundation. We depend on God for wisdom, strength, and fruit. Prayer is how we confess our need, align with His will, and invite His Spirit to move. Without prayer, our work is empty. With prayer, it is alive.

City Focus

Our mission is bigger than one church or neighborhood. From West Seattle to Rainier Valley, every part of this city matters deeply to God. We want students across Seattle to see the presence of Jesus through leaders united in heart, working together to make Him known everywhere.

Hospitality

There is always space at the table. Whether you serve five students or fifty, whether you are experienced or just beginning, you belong here. Hospitality means creating a culture of welcome, where every leader matters, every story is honored, and together we reflect the love of Christ.

Resilience

Youth ministry is demanding, but students need leaders who endure. Resilience means showing up consistently, holding steady when challenges come, and staying faithful to the call of God. We believe resilience is not cultivated in isolation but in community, as we support, encourage, and carry the weight together.

Events

That they may all be one. As you, Father, are in me and I am in you, may they also be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
